Heart Healthy Cowboy Salmon Salad (Recipe)

Bursting with Omega-3s, vitamins, minerals and protein, this delicious salmon salad makes the perfect, wholesome lunch. It’s light and packed full of nutrients to support your heart and brain health. And the best part? It’s super easy to make.
Ingredients: Salad
● 3 cups greens of choice (iceburg, romaine lettuce, kale)
● ½ red bell pepper, chopped
● ½ green onions, chopped
● ½ large carrot, shredded
● ¼ apple, chopped
● 2 tbsp feta cheese, crumbled
● 2 Medjool dates, chopped
● 5 oz salmon, cooked
Ingredients: Dressing
● ¼ cup greek yogurt
● 1 tbsp mayo
● ¼ lemon, juiced
● 1 small of garlic, minced
● ½ tsp chili powder
● Pinch of sea salt
Instructions

Add all of the salad ingredients to a mixing bowl.

Combine the dressing ingredients in a small mason jar and shake until combined or whisk together in a small bowl.

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and serve with salmon.
